💼 Business

Often during workouts I listen to the MyFirstMillion podcast (terrible name, great podcast) and they talked about the Thiel Fellowship and how incredibly successful it’s been. Basically the Thiel Fellowship gives students 100k USD to not go to school and build something new. Successes coming out of the program such as Ethereum, Figma, Luminar Technologies, The Ocean Cleanup, and OYO Rooms, with a combined worth of billions of dollars. Link to clip

A free ebook taking a deep dive into many software architecture patterns. That thing we devs often think about after we’ve build something. Do yourself a favour and download the ebook and break the pattern of not starting with patterns. Link (and this one for those who hate using their own email to download it)

OpenAI’s infamous Dall-E is getting competition. Stability AI announced a public release of their AI image generator called Stable Diffusion. Here you find the public announcement, including links to an environment where you can take it for a test run.

🕹️ Cool stuff

Regarding Dall-E, it was only was a matter of time before a Twitter account was going to blow up by posting weird (and often hilarious) outputs of Dall-E. Treat yourself and follow this one. Link
