💼 Business
A very necessary tool for modern times. scite helps you to discover and understand scientific articles via Smart Citations. So you can see how a scientific paper has been cited. scite also provides context of the citation and a classification describing whether it provides supporting or contrasting evidence for the cited claim. Link.
✏️ Design
I think one piece on Javascript and another on CSS is enough this week. Here are 7 (free) Javascript effects for making your site more interactive. Link.
And some pure CSS credit card examples. Designers far and wide were very excited about these. This site is also good for pure CSS assets in general. Link.
🖥️ Technology
Everyone is losing their minds over this Visual Studio Code x Github update. I’m not a dev so I’ll do my best to explain it but recommend you just click the link and watch the 30 sec video. Here goes - pressing ‘The Dot’ key on your keyboard now opens github.dev on any repository. Visual Studio Code will open in your browser, load your repository and all files within it - with a search capability to help you find stuff. When you make changes and commit it instantly pushes that commit to the repo. Make sense? I hope so. Want to make sure I haven’t missed something? Click here. Link.
🕹️ Cool stuff
A weekly update on why you should use DuckDuckGo for your searching via a short piece on how Amazon is ruining Google search (and the evidence that they’re in cahoots with each other). Link.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
